Hasan Piker, better known by his online alias HasanAbi, is a Turkish-American Twitch streamer who mostly talks about politics and current events in the Just Chatting category.

Hasan was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey to a Turkish father and Turkish-American mother. He was raised in Istanbul, then returned to the United States and attended the University of Miami, then transferred to Rutgers University, where he graduated cum laude with a double major in political science and communication studies in 2013. He went to college in America and then became an intern for his uncle's news company, The Young Turks.
Career[]
Hasan started streaming in 2018 just playing Fortnite with his friend, Will Neff. Hasan quickly made friends in the streaming world, appearing on Austin Show's streams, and collaborating with people like Pokimane. Thanks to Pokimane, Hasan has collaborated with various people in and around OTV, such as Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, Sykkuno, LilyPichu, AriaSaki, TinaKitten, 39Daph and Kkatamina.
On October 19, 2020, U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez featured Hasan, Pokimane, Corpse Husband, Dr Lupo, Disguised Toast, Moistcr1tikal, Myth, Mxmtoon and Jacksepticeye to organize a stream of the Representative playing popular multiplayer game Among Us for the "Get out the vote" initiative. The stream aired the following day, featuring both Ocasio-Cortez and U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar playing the game with Hasan and many other popular Twitch streamers, reaching a total concurrent viewership of almost 700,000 people.

Hasan lives in Los Angeles. He is the nephew of Cenk Uygur, founder of The Young Turks.
